I founded Susan Skrocki College Consulting as a way to continue helping students and families in the field of education, having enjoyed a marvelous and satisfying twenty year career in teaching. Working with students and families is something I truly love to do. I particularly enjoy helping students develop a stronger sense of independence, responsibility and confidence as they navigate the tasks involved in applying to college. I visit and tour college campuses several times each year. My Certificate, awarded with distinction, in College Counseling from UCLA, memberships in Higher Education Consultants Association and Pacific Northwest Association for College Admissions Counseling keep me current and involved in the profession of college consulting.

Teenagers are incredibly busy juggling school assignments, studying for tests, participating in clubs and sports, and pursuing their own interests; all with the desire to be more independent.
